Job Overview: 

My client is seeking a reliable and physically fit Van Driver to join their team, specialising in the delivery of mid-century furniture. The role involves transporting furniture to various regions, including weekly trips to London, 1-2 days delivering to other regions, and a monthly trip to Scotland, with overnight accommodation provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load, transport, and unload mid-century furniture.
  • Deliver to customers in London once a week.
  • Deliver to another designated region 1-2 days per week.
  • Make one delivery trip to Scotland per month, involving overnight stays.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience driving vans or larger vehicles is preferred.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy furniture items.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Flexibility to accommodate overnight trips as required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Details:

  • Competitive pay up to £13 per hour.
