Are you passionate about inspiring a love for language and literature in students with Special Educational Needs?

GSL Education Kent are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a SEN English Teacher in Tonbridge. As a SEN English Teacher , you'll play a pivotal role in nurturing the language skills and confidence of students with Special Educational Needs.

As a SEN English Teacher, your responsibilities will be to:

  • Create and deliver captivating lessons in English Literature and Language for students.
  • Develop a comprehensive, tailored curriculum that caters to diverse student needs, offering support in specific areas as required.
  • Foster positive connections with parents, teachers, and students while ensuring elevated student achievements through adept leadership and supervision.
  • Continuously improve personal development by enhancing subject knowledge and refining teaching methodologies.
  • Provide individualised support to students with special educational needs, tailoring teaching methods to suit their unique learning styles.
  • Offer personalised one-on-one assistance to students with special educational needs, adapting teaching methods to accommodate individual learning styles.

Requirements for the SEN English Teacher role:

  • Have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and specialise in teaching English Language.
  • Be a motivating and innovative teacher who can engage students of all levels.
  • Have a degree in subject area.
  • Be passionate about their subject area.
  • Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with us).
  • A full checkable work history.
  • Proven experience working with students with SEN.
