We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper with strong leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style. You'll mentor and encourage the house keeping team, ensuring their tasks and completed to a high standard, creating a warm and homely surroundings that are so important to delivering quality care and support for the residents of Frances Bolitho

Job Purpose:

• The role of the Head Housekeeper is to assist our teams in delivering an exceptional experience to residents to live full, happy and healthy lives. You will be proud to deliver excellent house keeping standards across the Home

Main duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and maintaining cleaning schedules
• Ordering of cleaning products and housekeeping goods, checking deliveries and stock rotation
• Participate in the recruitment of housekeeping personnel as required and in line with the Company recruitment procedure
• Ensuring the correct and economical use of cleaning products and equipment within budgetary guidelines
• Provide one to one supervision for the housekeeping team
• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
• To work as part of the housekeeping team and complete daily housekeeping tasks.

Requirements:

• Kind, caring and compassionate in nature
• Highly motivated and driven to achieve high standard
• Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure in a diverse and changing environment
• Ability to communicate and interact well with residents and others
• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role
• Previous experience of working in a supervisory role
