Responsibilities:

  • Teach and develop an engaging Health & Social Care curriculum for Key Stage 4 and Psychology for Key Stage 5 students.
  • Implement a curriculum that fosters critical thinking and active learning.
  • Deliver effective teaching, learning, and assessments to ensure consistent student progress.
  • Regularly assess students’ progress through various methods, including assignments, projects, quizzes, and exams.
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, respect, and student well-being.

Requirements:

  • Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Ability to teach with depth and clarity, enabling students to make significant progress over time.
  • Experience in educating across a range of age and ability levels.
  • Ability to inspire curiosity and a passion for the subject.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
  • Hold an active Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
