Job Title: Class 2 Driver

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Logistics, Procurement, Distribution and Supply Chain

Salary: £16 - £17.50 Per hour

Job Duties:
  • Operate a Class 2 vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
  • Deliver goods to various locations within the designated area
  • Follow delivery schedules and routes provided
  • Ensure accurate completion of delivery paperwork
  • Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
  • Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle
Required Qualifications:
  • Valid Class 2 driving licence
  • CPC qualification
  • Digital tachograph card
 Experience:

Prior experience as a Class 2 driver preferred

Experience in removals is adventagous for one of our clients (Potential temp to perm) 

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent driving skills
  • Good knowledge of local and national road networks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ADR certification
  • Experience in multi-drop deliveries
Working Conditions:

This role involves driving for extended periods and may require some heavy lifting. Working hours may vary based on delivery schedules. The role is primarily outdoors and involves interaction with customers and colleagues.
