About the Role

Securitas is expanding - we are looking for Security Officer’s to cover a variety of clients varying from retail stores, construction sites, corporate offices and many more in the Luton, Aylesbury and wider Bedfordshire/ Buckinghamshire area.

48 hours per week

Days, Nights & Weekends

Job Opportunity

Your responsibilities will include:

  • The Security Officer will manage the day to day running of the site, working as part of a team, monitoring internal CCTV, issuing/managing visitors & contractors access.
  • Escorting visitors across the site when needed.
  • Remain 100% alert and vigilant at all times to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening behaviour
  • Retaining full control of any threatening behaviour until the arrival of the police or any other external agency.
  • Monitoring loss and waste – reporting any incidences.
  • Patrolling 

Essential Skills

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent customer service, people skills, organisational skills and time management
  • Ability to stay alert
  • SIA License
  • 5-year checkable employment history and Right to Work
  • UK Driving License 
  • Must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
