I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The principal challenge of this position is to perform a variety of material movement tasks for the receiving, warehousing, distribution and shipping of material in an efficient and timely manner. This includes both raw materials and finished goods. A key challenge in this position is to ensure all warehouse equipment is available, well maintained, and operated in a safe manner. Providing appropriate communications and feedback to all individuals involved with overseeing materials movements is crucial in this position to ensure any issues are resolved immediately and accurately

III. EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED is required.
Must be able to lift thirty-five (35) pounds to an elevation of six feet or more
Understanding of distribution procedures
Must have valid licenses and qualification to operate various forms of mobile equipment (forklift, CDL Trucks, man lifts, etc.) General knowledge of the production process
Effectively utilizes available computer tools, including Excel, Word, and Oracle
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good organizational skills
Understands the concept of customer satisfaction and the corresponding capability of meeting those needs
Thorough knowledge of CSI’s Safety, Environmental and Health policies
Good communication skills
Exercises good judgment in evaluating situations
Has excellent follow-through skills
Work Schedule: 12 hour shifts either 6:45am-7pm or 6:45pm-7am
Work Shift: 12-hour shift, with occasional voluntary or mandatory overtime
Education/Training Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, forklift experience and license required, basic computer and math skills
PPE: ANSI Z41 approved safety shoes, hearing and eye protection as appropriate for work area, gloves according to work tasks, and other PPE as assigned and required.
Tools and Equipment: Forklift, mobile equipment, various hand, power and pneumatic tools, computer, railcar hose, writing utensils, tape dispenser, stretch wrap, box cutters, general office supplies and equipment.
Environmental Conditions: Warehouse production facility or office environment which is climate controlled and external environments and conditions. Employees may work around moving parts and mobile equipment. Possible exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection if in production area.
Essential Job Functions:

9. Perform systems and administrative requirements associated with receiving and shipping functions
10. Adhere to CSI’s import/export compliance policy and requirements
11. Review CSI’s compliance website for procedures/SOP/guidelines
12. Ensure that materials are supplied to production following the rules of FIFO inventory management
13. Communicate any issues with raw materials
14. Perform inventory cycle counts of raw materials
15. Unloads raw materials and put away in warehouse
16. Notify Quality Control of any incoming raw materials
17. Ensure all raw materials returned from production are properly weighed and tagged
18. Monitor the warehouse on a daily basis, looking for unsafe storage of raw materials or finished goods and correct
19. Make entries in Excel as needed
20. Keep accurate and up to date records of all raw materials stored in the warehouse, trailers or off site warehouse
21. Pull any orders for raw materials to be shipped from warehouse to any off site location
22. Prepare BOL for shipments of raw materials
23. Verify weights of any materials being shipped
24. Provide information of raw materials needed for daily production
25. Demonstrate awareness of and compliance with all pertinent safety policies and procedures
26. Maintain a professional, clean and organized work environment
27. Participate in work related training programs

V. WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT
This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. This position is an integral member of the Salt Lake City Production Planning and Control Department. There are no direct reports into this position.
