About the Role

Exciting security opportunity in Birmingham with Securitas We're seeking a skilled Security Officer with a minimum of 1 year of public security experience to join our team, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, totalling 40 hours per week.

As a Security Officer, your ability to deter incidents professionally makes you a valuable asset to our team. Your excellent customer service skills, demonstrated with both customers and staff, contribute to creating a safe and welcoming environment. Your adaptability and timely response to the client's needs showcase your commitment to providing exceptional security services.

Job Opportunity
  • Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
  • Able to deter incidents in a professional manner.
  • Conduct external and internal security patrols.
  • Maintain all logbooks and records.
  • Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to management.
  • Access / Egress
  • Working daily with the public. No bank holidays required and additional hours available. 
  • Adapt efficiently and in a timely manner to the clients needs.
  • Deter incidents and working closely with on site managements



Essential Skills
  • SIA licence
  • 1 year experience within the security industry
  • Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable history 
  • good transport links (reasonable commuting distance)
