A position has become available as a General Farm Worker at The RVC Boltons Park Farm. 

The successful candidate will be expected to take part in routine tasks that contribute to the daily running of Boltons Park Farm under the guidance of the Farm Manager. This will include working with the cattle and sheep and also helping manage the land at the farm. 

Daily duties will include, and are not limited to, assisting with milking of the dairy herd, TMR feeding, assisting with all aspects of the Farm and making sure all jobs are done to a high standard.

The successful candidate will be answerable to the Farm Manager and will need to work closely with other members of the farm team and RVC teaching staff.

The candidate may become involved in some areas of undergraduate teaching – both veterinary and animal science students – this will be largely based around animal husbandry. 

The salary offered will be commensurate with experience and a generous living allowance will be provided as part of the package.
