Role: Chef de Partie
Location: Tadworth, Surrey
Rate of pay: £15.00 per hour

Platinum Recruitment are supporting a large manufacturing business in the Tadworth area of Surrey who are looking for a Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team on a 12 week temp to perm basis.

Great working hours

Monday - Friday 07.00 - 15.30

What's Involved:

  • Prepare and cook fresh vegetables, salads, prepare desserts and other produce for staff & visitors
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • To work with customer's dietary requirements
  • Front of house carving and serving, as necessary
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Work without supervision, on occasions, to produce staff meals to meet high standards and in the absence of senior kitchen staff, assist with ordering stock, menu planning and staff training
  • Ensure kitchen hygiene standards are always maintained to the levels required by the Head Chef, in line with Environmental Health Office regulations
  • Assist with stock control and stock take procedures as necessary under the direction of the Head Chef and/or Sous Chef
  • Receive deliveries of goods and assist with the storage of goods under the guidance of Head Chef and/or Sous Chef
  • Run a section for a full service when required
  • To assist in new ideas with current trends
  • To work to & meet with all Health & Safety & risk assessment procedures
