Job Description

As a Real Estate Finance Solicitor, you will be in a lead role within our Securities Team and reporting directly into the Head of Securities. This role will work across our Commercial business, ensuring that we are effectively balancing risk and the security of our lending is perfected. You will work with the Head of Securities to develop and deliver processes to improve the value add of the team to the business.

As a Real Estate Finance Solicitor , we are looking for someone to:

Manage and progress a caseload of residential and commercial property lending, including Freehold, Leasehold, and Shared Ownership titles Identify potential issues that may affect lending security and develop innovative solutions to overcome them Make proactive recommendations based on a deep understanding of each case and subject matter Support the team with technical property and finance law knowledge ensuring they benefit from your experience Manage relationships with our external solicitors Draft consider and recommend documentation that minimize pre and post completion challenges and ensure smooth and effective security. Ensure SLA’s are met and customer satisfaction both internal stakeholders and external remains high Contribute positively to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Essential

A qualified solicitor with experience in a property/lending environment. Proven ability to deliver commercially focused solutions to title and property and finance issues issues Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex matters in a clear and concise manner Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality work Collaborative team player with a flexible approach

Desirable

Experience of working with Commercial properties Experience of leading and managing a team
