An established regional law firm is looking for a Private Client Solicitor with at least five years’ experience to join its successful team in Birmingham as Head of Private Client.

This is a great opportunity for a private client lawyer with solid experience who is ready to take the next step or someone who would like to take a supported step up into a Head of Department position at an early stage in their career.

There may also be the opportunity to progress to partner or receive shares in the firm in the future.

You may be working for a bigger firm and feel a bit lost, or equally for a smaller firm and feel your progression pathway is blocked.

You’ll handle a caseload encompassing a broad range of Private Client matters, including tax, trusts and probate. As Head of Department, you will oversee the growth of the team as it develops its private client offering and grows its client base of local and HNW clients.

The firm also has strong connections with financial advisors and accountants to develop further work streams. 

The right person will, therefore, have experience of working with HNW individuals and business directors, experience of supervising others and be willing to get involved in BD and networking.

The firm has a strong referral network, including connections with financial advisors and accountants that all refer work into the team. Our client just needs someone who can take the reins on these relationships and existing commercial client relationships to drive the team forward.
