If so, this could be the post for youWe are looking for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Stroke and Neurotherapy rotation at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. The post will be rotational through our Stroke Unit including a Hyper-acute service, Stroke Rehabilitation, Neurological Inpatients, Acquired Brain Injury unit and the Early Supported Discharge Team for Stroke and Neurology. We have recently added community neuro rehabilitation to the rotation hosted by Dorset HealthCare.The successful applicant will be required to provide neurological skilled Occupational Therapy assessment and treatment to clients with complex neurological problems, including assessment, acute rehabilitation, discharge planning and appropriate onward referral. We are looking for an innovative Occupational Therapist who is keen to develop their skills at a senior level, who can demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to implement evidence-based practice. This role requires HCPC Registration.Base Location: Royal Bournemouth, Poole Hospital, Alderney Hospital
