JobSummary:
Theresponsibility of the Children and Young People s Directorate (CYP)is to ensure the safety wellbeing and learning of children andyoung people. To do so we need to make every intervention count tocreate impact and bring about sustainable change for children youngpeople and their families where need is identified. We aredetermined to continuously improve our services by working inpartnership to ensure that our work is high quality andeffective.
KeyDuties/Accountabilities:
Ability to useinitiative within boundaries of therole.
Demonstratesknowledge of Signs of Safety and a broad practical understanding ofand skills in using solution focused approaches ofintervention.
Ability toeffectively apply solution focused approaches to deliver successfuloutcomes.
Ability toclarify risks and concerns and focus on solutions to create aclimate in which change canhappen.
EssentialQualificationsRequired:
Suitablequalification at graduate level or equivalent experience in arelevant area ofwork.
Evidence ofcontinuing professionaldevelopment.
