DescriptionThe Aftersales Parts & Logistics Specialist role is responsible for the day to day running of the Aftersales Spare Parts Warehouse, goods processing, processing of customer orders and supporting key Aftersales deliverables to provide a standout service environment.
Key Responsibilities·        Assist in managing spare parts inventory in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and issuing parts as needed.·        Coordinate the packing and shipping of spare parts to service centres, dealerships, and customers, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.·        Support the procurement process by assisting with parts ordering, vendor communication, and inventory replenishment.·        Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.·        Provide basic customer support regarding parts inquiries, availability, and order status, escalating more complex issues to senior team members as needed.·        Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.·        Assist in implementing quality control measures to ensure the authenticity and quality of spare parts, including visual inspections and verification of part numbers.·        Learn and utilize inventory management software or ERP systems to record transactions, track inventory levels, and generate reports.·        Assist in analysing data related to parts usage, inventory levels, and logistics performance to identify areas for improvement and support decision-making.·        Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and regulatory requirements, to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.·        Be instrumental in delivering initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency within the department. 
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise·        Previous experience in Automotive at Dealership or Head Office environment. ·        Computer literate – Microsoft Office suite.·        Well presented, with professional mannerisms befitting of the Gordon Murray organisation.·        Adaptable, quick thinking, decisive, showing strong initiative and self-determination.·        Strong planning, good follows up skills, meticulous in detail.·        Demonstrates a methodical approach. ·        Good team working habits.·        Confident with good interpersonal & communication, (especially verbal & written) skills.·        Flexible approach to working hours. ·        Organised, persuasive, resourceful, flexible, ambitious, self-directing, passion for delivering objectives, comfortable challenging existing processes.·        Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external clients ·        Must be a team player.
