Shifts for Warehouse TeamLeader:

  • 14:00to 22:00
  • Monday toFriday

Pay:

  • 14.66 per hour
  • Paidweekly
  • Temp to perm -the successful candidate will be awarded a permanent contract oncompletion of a 12 week probationaryperiod

MainDuties of Warehouse TeamLeader:

  • Promote andensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times,the area is fully compliant with company health and safety and firepolicies, procedures and all legislative requirements. Report anyaccidents to the supervisor.
  • Driving the KPI'sfor your area of responsibility. Challenge and motivate the team todeliver measures in a consistentmanner.
  • Encourage the team to monitor productquality and reject any unsuitable products while ensuring waste isminimised and reported accurately to the supervisordaily.
  • Ensure all materials (packaging andproduct) are ordered timely andaccurately.
  • Promptly identifying any areas ofimprovement in relation to Safety, Hygiene, Quality, Quantity andcosts to the Supervisor. Suggest improvements to help lineefficiencies.
  • Take accountability for nominatedemployees training, by ensuring they are skilled in their role andhave been signed off against relevantprocedures.
  • Day to day control andco-ordination of the workforce within a defined area of theoperation.
  • Complete and take accountability forchecks and tasks, including CCP's.
  • Completionof Defacto and Redzone.
  • Complete all yieldinformation. Ensure reasons are documented and record informationneeded to improve
  • Promptly escalate issuesincluding breakdowns, which are impacting production and seekcorrective action / resolutions.
  • Ensure yieldis maximised by assessing the quality of the product and ensuringcompliance to the required product specification. E.G. Recordingwaste figures / re-work.
  • Ensure all paperworkis filled in accurately and in a timely manner, for all relevanttasks carried out.
  • Support continuousimprovement in all areas of the operation where greater efficiency,hygiene, quality and safety could beachieved.
  • Ensure compliance to Defacto systemprocedures, including completion of workorders.
  • During the shift. Identify andcommunicate immediately to the Engineering Department, any issuesthat occur, to ensure they are resolved to minimise productiondowntime.
  • Carry our product change overs andset machines in accordance with companyprocedures.
