Qualifications

Essential criteria

Master’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent experience

Desirable criteria

Independent prescribing qualification (NMP) as noted on GPhC register History Taking & Physical Examination or equivalent qualification Advanced Clinical Practice qualification or working towards equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria

Highly experienced pharmacist with at least 5 years extensive experience working in hospital pharmacy Expert knowledge covering a range of pharmacy services and able to provide highly specialist advice Proven experience as a specialist clinical pharmacist
