Jigsol, a leading design and manufacturing company, is looking for a talented Product Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in transforming conceptual ideas into marketable products. You will be responsible for leading the entire product design process from ideation to production, working closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the high standards of quality and functionality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Work closely with the product development team and stakeholders to identify and understand market needs and trends

- Conduct research and competitive analysis to gather insights and inform the product design process

- Use your creativity and technical skills to develop sketches, 3D models, and prototypes of new product ideas

- Collaborate with engineers, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of the designs

- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for production, including materials, dimensions, and tolerances

- Conduct usability testing and iterate designs based on user feedback

- Maintain a thorough understanding of our brand aesthetic and ensure it is reflected in the product design

- Stay updated with industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies to continuously improve and enhance our products

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product design and development

- Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, and 3D modeling software

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas and concepts to stakeholders

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong project management skills

- A portfolio showcasing your previous product design projects and process is a must
