Responsibilitiesof a ReceptionTeacher:

• Asa Reception Teacher you will be responsible for the pastoral careof children taking their first steps in Early Years FoundationStage promoting teamwork and cultivating a conducive learningenvironment.
• Teaching the Early YearsFoundation Stage curriculum to groups of children while alsofocusing on each individual childs learning targets encouragingtheir strengths and improving theirweaknesses
• Further developing maths ability andintroducing fractions statistics andgeometry
• Help children develop their writingability by creating plots characters and settings forstories.
• Keeping track of childrens progressand occasionally reporting back toparents
