Job summary

An opportunity has a arisen for a Part Time Medical Receptionist to join our team. The post holder will provide a comprehensive reception / admin service to our Practice population. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a GP surgery but training will be provided to the right candidate.

The post is for 18 hours per week to be worked over 2 days. Hours of work will be Thursday and Friday 8am to 6pm. The post-holder will be required to cover extended hours on a Monday evening until 8pm on a rota basis.

Main duties of the job

Undertake Reception and Telephone duties, acting as the first point of contact for patients and visitors

Process Repeat Prescriptions

Scan and process electronic communications

Various administration duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice

Use SystmOne clinical system
