Role Overview:

The successful candidate for the Toolmaker position will produce and maintain tooling and ancillary equipment used in the manufacture, assembly or testing of the Spirax Sarco range of products.

Your objectives and responsibilities will focus on…

Manufacture and maintaining any tooling or equipment that may be used by Spirax Sarco in the UK or overseas Supporting the Toolroom Team Leader with planning and delivering all aspects of Tool Orders (Breakdown, Planned Maintenance and general) and will drive to complete punctually with prompt closure of jobs Supporting the Operations department on a day to day basis with any manufacturing, maintenance or quality issues Working closely with Tool Design to ensure the most effective and efficient work holding and tooling design is used Feeding back to Operations and Process Engineering any defects or improvements that can be made to equipment

Your previous experience is likely to include….

Tool and Fixture manufacture, including Press Tools A working knowledge of manufacturing engineering Working within a production environment
