The purpose of the role is to take interimresponsibility for an organisation technical service provision andIT infrastructure. This will include Azure IaaS services, network,security, hardware, software and telephony. Your role will includefamiliarising yourself with the organisations environment,providing a 2nd/3rd line support service, before handing over tonewly recruited staff members. You will help to deliver any ongoingprojects, support a primarily Microsoft 365/Azure infrastructure;ensure security and integrity of systems; manage network, switchesand remote access; and monitor back up routines.

MustHave

  • A commercial track record as anInfrastructure Support Specialist up to third line.
  • Microsoft 365 administrationspecialist
  • Azure IaaS / Windows Server forAzure
  • General experience in a senior technicalrole proving third line support on Microsoft Desktop (10, 11) andServer (2019, 2022) technologies in Azure tenancies, Microsoft 365,and hybrid infrastructurearchitectures.
  • LAN/WAN technologymanagement.
  • Strong networkingskills
  • Experience supporting comms solutions -telephony and mobile device management
  • Projectexperience in installing and configuring hardware andsoftware.
  • Solution design and the ability totranslate business requirement into technicalspecifications.
  • ITIL process and practices,with good appreciation of Incident, Problem and ChangeManagement.

You will be able to build effectiverelationships with stakeholders internally and with 3rd partysuppliers whilst you manage the environment.
