JobRequirements:
•Minimum of two (2) years educational and/or work experience withAutoCAD preferred; or
adequate AutoCAD training from aschool with genuine desire to be trained; or any
equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with electrical schematicsrequired.
• Skilled in how to scale drawinglayouts for production purposes.
• Basiccomputer literacy Microsoft Office email.
•Desire for accuracy and consistency mandatory; should also have adesire to learn and
improve.
•Knowledge of basic drafting principles.
•Candidate should be able to assist in designing electricalequipment and components.

JobResponsibilities:
• Provide CAD support byimplementing and enforcing client standards offeringtechnical
assistance for CAD software and ensuringcompliance with the best practices.
• Createclean comprehensive and accurate documents and working drawingsfrom
engineer’s specifications or sketchesadhering to established drawing production and client
standards.
• Develop singleline threelinediagrams AC and DC schematics panel layouts wiring
diagrams sections and details using CAD software.
• Maintain CAD document archives oversee the integrity ofdrawings and systems and serve
as the customer documentcontrol system expert.
• Act as a liaisonbetween operations project engineering teams and vendors. Assistin
coordination and review of shop drawings duringproject electrical administration.
• OrganizeCAD drawings and files ensuring accessibility and efficientretrieval.
• Responsible for accurate documentsubmittals and transmittals per customer requirements.
Use AutoCAD Electrical to design electrical equipment facilitiescomponents products and
systems for municipal andindustrial purposes.
• Convert panel ideas ontorelevant title block format to be used as production typedrawings.
• Direct and/or perform activities toensure that manufacturing construction installation and
operational testing conform to functional specifications andcustomer requirements.
• Create fabricationdetail drawings to be sent to a metal fabricator for customenclosures and
related accessories.
Revisedrawings for resubmittal or shipping prints and provide laminateddrawings if
necessary to be placed in panels beforeshipping.
• Responsible for creating PDF filesof every drawing set that we create or revise to bestored
on the network.
• Documentfinal changes to products by going to production area testing areaor jobsite.
• Assist the engraving departmentwith drawings for special custom engraving needs.
• Plot fullsize layout plots for cutting templates fordoor layouts needed by shop when
required.
• Coordinate activities with other departments and workgroups as needed.
• Perform other jobrelatedduties as assigned
