Our client based in Hook, Hampshire are currently recruiting for Warehouse/Productions operatives to join their Production team on an initial 12-month basis with opportunities to extend.

You could be a recent college or university leaver looking for some well-paid work with great Mon-Fri hours to tie you over for the next few months whilst you work out your long-term plans? Or you could be an experienced Warehouse or Production operative looking to settle into a social team who have created a great atmosphere both in and out of work in a role that is perfect for someone looking for reliable, long-term position

Please note: due to the location of our client you will need to have access to your own mode of transport.

Job Type: Long term temporary (initially 12 months)

Job Title: Warehouse/Production Operative.

Hours: 7:00 to 15:00 Monday to Friday

Location: Hook, Hampshire

Salary: £12.82 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working efficiently to ensure all production lines are running at full capacity
  • Communicating with colleagues to ensure smooth flow of work
  • Working in various parts of the line to gain a full understanding of the products and the overall operation
  • Identifying/reporting any damaged or faulty stock
  • Picking and checking of existing inventory/stock
  • Adhering to health and safety standards set out for all employees
  • Partaking in relevant training when required to up-skill
  • Working quickly and smartly to identify and solve problems as and when required
  • Adhoc duties which may include, soldering, data work, rewiring, assembly, managing deliveries etc.

  • Basic electrical knowledge (advantageous)

Limited Company contractors

If you are a Limited Company contractor, you can 'opt out' of the regulations. Whilst the regulations have been conceived to ensure greater legislative protection for candidates, there may be issues which conflict with the spirit of the IR35 rules.

Opting out of the regulations will have benefits if you decide that you want to be considered self-employed. This will mean you will not be afforded the same protection as that of our PAYE workers but does bring you a step closer to being seen as genuinely self-employed and therefore could be viewed as outside the scope of the IR35 tax rules. If you wish to opt-out, you need to do so before your contract starts. To do this, please inform your consultant and sign and return the EAA opt-out form. Please note if we do not receive your signed form then your opt-out will be invalid.
