THE OPPORTUNITY

Sii UK are hiring for a role of a System Engineer, based in Bristol or in a commutable area as the role requires coming to the office for 4-5 days per week.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

To excel in this role, you should possess experience in the following:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in systems style="margin-bottom:px"> Minimum 5 years of experience with IBM Rational DOORS. Strong understanding of systems engineering principle. Strong understanding of defence industry standards. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Eligible to do security vetting.

TASKS:

The primary activities encompass, but are not limited to, the following:

Analyse, and manage system requirements using IBM Rational DOORS for Missile Systems/Electronic Warfare. Ensure traceability, clarity, and consistency of requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams. Customise and configure DOORS to meet project-specific needs. Provide training and support to project team members on DOORS usage.
