Description

The primary responsibilities of this role will be to work alongside the Process Engineers to operate the modules, process wafers, and record the results for the Process Engineers to then interpret.

This will involve working on a variety of module types to assist the Engineers develop processes to meet the customer requirements. There will also be an element of hardware testing.

The successful candidate will be expected to work on a 39 hour week, permanent late shift pattern, which comprises 1:30 – 9:30pm Mon-Thu and 12:30 – 7:30pm Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Process Demonstrations and Hardware Development.

Perform experimental trials on the demo lab equipment under direction Assess results using analytical equipment (SEM, Microscope, Film thickness etc) and appropriate software packages Run tests for new processes and equipment Contribute constructively to the work of project teams for new products and processes Effectively communicate results to the relevant engineer / supervisor Make detailed records of results and contribute to written reports or presentations as required

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants will be educated to A level or equivalent including science-based subjects.

Some experience of working in a Semiconductor cleanroom environment or using analytical equipment would be valuable, but not essential as full training will be given.
