Mitie are currently recruiting for a EV Civils Site Manager to support our team at Rock Power Connections

They specialise in the design and build of new and upgraded electrical infrastructure solutions for business, industry, commercial properties and EV charging.
About your new role:
As an EV Civils Site Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day monitoring of contractor's compliance with H&S on site and also manage the installation of a wide range of ducting/cable installation, you will be expected to conduct quality assurance audits and on-going snagging of works in progress.
Key responsibilities:
Identifying and eliminating hazards and potentially dangerous situations Perform risk assessments and 'point of work risk assessments' (POWRA) Work to and control CDM procedures, ensuring all works are carried out safely and documentation is completed as per the construction health and safety plan. Ensure plant pre use checks are conducted daily and standard tools, equipment are maintained, and PAT tested to ensure their safety and reliability. Ensure work is performed in accordance with the relevant standard work practices, workplace Health & Safety and environmental standards. Successfully pass audits on works undertaken.Our ideal candidate:
Own a SMSTS Qualification Full UK Driving license Willingness to travel between sites nationally Happy to undertake further training for a Temporary Works Coordinator (2 day course) within the probationary period A Street works qualification is highly desirableOur market-leading offering provides you with benefits that suit your lifestyle.
