Role responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for a Driver Integration Manager (ETCS) to work as part of the Operations Readiness team to ensure all new & cascaded traction being introduced into TfW Rail Limited is implemented in a professional and timely way. Develop, Manage, and lead training plans, through the use of Risk Based Training Needs Analysis (RBTNA), that are fit for purpose to ensure our Drivers are fully competent to deliver the services we commit to.

Consult and collaborate closely with Operations, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to agree the end-to-end training plans for implementation within the Driver Function. Work with key suppliers and stakeholders to identify & agree solutions for other operational requirements that impact on the company’s operational ability to deliver the service. Work closely with New & Cascaded Trains Project Teams ensuring new & cascaded trains operational requirements are covered. Lead on consultation with the Trade Unions in-line with the Social Partnership Agreement, Company Collective Agreements & Working Arrangements. Engage with them so that they are kept informed and involved in key decisions, listening to their concerns and manage effective negotiations for a mutual resolution.

Who we’re looking for

Extensive knowledge and experience of the rail industry and our network. Proven leadership and excellent people management skills Driver competency Excellent planning and organising skills ERTMS Level 2 competent with Cambrian route knowledge

Welsh Language Skills

The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
