Exciting Opportunity for an Art Teacher in Southend

 

Are you a passionate and creative Art Teacher looking for a new opportunity? Our schools in Southend are seeking a talented Art Teacher to join our team starting in September. This short-term, full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to inspire and nurture the artistic talents of students across various age groups.

As an Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative art lessons that encourage students to explore their creativity and develop their skills. You will work closely with other staff to create a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters artistic expression and growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Planning and delivering high-quality art lessons that cater to a range of abilities

- Encouraging students to develop their creativity and artistic skills

- Assessing and providing feedback on student work

- Organising and participating in school art exhibitions and events

- Collaborating with colleagues to integrate art into the broader curriculum

 

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a specialisation in Art

- A strong passion for art and teaching

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities

- A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive educational environment
