We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and manage our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of warehouse processes, and a commitment to ensuring efficient and accurate warehouse operations. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing warehouse staff, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the warehouse team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and providing performance feedback.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all warehouse processes meet quality and accuracy standards; conduct regular inspections to verify that inventory is stored and handled properly
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure accurate record-keeping of inventory movements
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety within the warehouse
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all team members follow safety regulations to create a safe working environment.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee the operation and maintenance of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors; ensure that equipment is in good working condition
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including inventory levels, order fulfilment, and equipment maintenance.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or equipment malfunctions.
  • Experience in warehouse operations supervisory or leadership role
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
  • Strong understanding of warehouse processes, safety standards, and equipment operation
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members, management, and other departments
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
