We are looking for someone with a passion for the delivery of the best possible for our patients. A qualification in or working towards Leg Ulcer Management qualification is essential.

The successful candidate should be able to work independently as well as part of a team and have excellent communication skills as well as the physical skills, effort and manual dexterity required to carry out all aspects of Leg Ulcer management. You must be innovative, forward thinking, self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have excellent standards of patient care and documentation.

This service seeks a positive team player with excellent abilities to prioritise workload and manage time effectively.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will lead the Leg Ulcer and Treatment Rooms services, demonstrating a high level of knowledge and expertise in leg ulcer and wound management. Change management and leadership skills are essential along with a positive, can-do attitude. Motivation of staff and staff development are important aspects of the role, achieved through being visible within the services and demonstrating high standards of professionalism and clinical skills.

The team are friendly and hard-working, delivering a high-standard of care to the diverse population of north Manchester.

We promote a supportive working environment in order for all to achieve their potential and the postholder will be supported to develop and progress in the role.
