Our Business Advisory Team
Slalom Manchesteris seeking a strong consulting leader to drive the growth and success of our Business Advisory Services practice. Senior Directors have the unique opportunity to set the strategic direction of this work by breaking down complexities, defining measurable milestones, and moving quickly to execute, learn and iterate.Senior Directors are accountable for delivery excellence, sales, recruiting, account management, and business operations.
What You’ll Do
Practice building – Drive overall growth of practice area through a combination of business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadershipTeam & individual development – Maximise team performance through an effective team approach that increases productivity and job satisfactionEngagement management – Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the clientIdentifies opportunities for growth and maturation of Business Advisory Services offeringsProvides oversight and governance of all sold and managed Business Advisory projectsDrives business development with the proper information, tools, and subject matter expertise to plan and sell engagements within the offering.Builds and develops relationship / partnership with local market teams, aligning on sales pursuits, resource capacity and capabilities, and awareness across the region.Builds and develops relationships with technology partners and owns joint sales pursuits.What You’ll Bring
Extensive experience as a leader, preferably in a consulting environment, leading teams in the delivery of technology solutions.P&L experience from a comparably sized consulting firmProven experience in large-scale, complex business transformation, applying expertise in strategy, organisational design, operating and governance models, capability development, change strategy, and cultural transformationProven history of leveraging and growing existing client base; organic business development responsibilities, i.e. growing new accounts/clients from the ground up.Excellent negotiation, conflict management, problem solving and decision-making skillsA demonstrated track record of successful consulting engagement management experience in Agile/Scrum environments; including directing and growing other staff members and having a major role in managing and interfacing with senior-level client executives.About Us
