ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Event Operations Manager, the Events Supervisor at W Edinburgh will have overall responsibility for daily operations of the Room Service team, ensuring guests receive a flawless service.

As Events Supervisor, key aspects of your role will include:

Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with appropriate food and beverage as stated in Banquet Event Order.  Setup meal and reception buffets, taste panels, individual event functions, server head table and/or VIP tables without managerial assistance. Answer questions on menu selections. Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability.  Follow cycle time guidelines for all meals.  Maintain the highest level of standards throughout.  Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.  Communicate with guests and other talent and ensure talent is working together as a team to ensure optimum service.
