TREATS is an in-house developed treasury trading system running on an iSeries platform from multiple global data centres.It supports front to back processing of treasury products such as Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Vanilla Derivatives and Fixed Income.

To work with business/system users, members of multiple technology teams and TREATS development teams globally to analyse, specify, test, and implement IT solutions.

TREATS (Treasury Trading System) is an integrated front/back-office system providing risk management, management information, front office support facilities and full operational capabilities including trade confirmation, settlement, and accounting.It covers a wide range of products including Foreign Exchange, Money Market (call accounts, term / multi-coupon loans and deposits), Debt Securities (buy/sell/repo), Derivatives (Forward Rate Agreement, Interest Rate and Currency Swaps), and Exchange Traded Futures/Options on Futures.

In this role you will:

·Assisting business/users and in some cases, technology teams, to define, gather and clearly document requirements following SDLC & Agile methodologies according to HSBC guidelines.

·TREATS is a functionally rich system and supports multiple business/user functions (, Front Office, Operations, Middle Office, Traded Risk, Finance/Product Control) therefore a major challenge of this role is achieving success to meet specific business functions requirements without impacting others.The job holder must have an understanding and appreciation of potential impact not just within the TREATS system but with external system/processes too, , accounting, payment, etc.

·Ensuring documented requirements are signed off by all stakeholders including business/users and technology teams.

·Translating requirements to appropriate IT plans and solutions that meet business and technology architecture requirements.

·Working with business/users and IT representatives to ensure most appropriate solution is selected to address the problem.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

·Excellent treasury and financial business knowledge.

·Good industry knowledge of Treasury products/processing.

·Background in SDLC, Agile & DevOps methodology techniques and documentation.

·Understanding business and/or technology requirements/concerns and exceed their expectations.

·Must be delivery-focussed producing accurate estimates delivering to agreed deadlines/standards.

·Impeccable written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills

This role is based in Sheffield and offers hybrid working.
