The shift pattern for this position is Mon to Sun.
Are you passionate about providing specialized care for older people We are seeking a staff nurse to work within Older People and Stroke services within the Larkfield Unit IRH, to join our dynamic team focused on serving the healthcare needs of older people.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Lead in the setting, implementation and evaluation of standards of nursing practice. 2. Maintain patient records in line with NMC guidelines for records and record keeping. 3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and quality of life. 4. Offer expert guidance and support to patients, families, and caregivers. 5. Participate in continuous education and stay updated on best practices in geriatric nursing.You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
