Join us in our low secure forensic service on a permanent contract, where you can make a real difference in the lives of individuals in need.

In addition to a competitive salary, this role also includes an RSU Allowance of £1,446 per annum and an incentive premium of £3,500 which will be paid in instalments over an 18-month period. Please note that this scheme is not open to existing employees of Oxford Health and is subject to a claw back ;C's apply.

Main duties of the job

Managing a varied and, at times, complex case load. Providing evidence-based and client-centred occupational therapyAssessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating interventions Providing leadership for junior/non-registered staff through supervision and appraisal. Participating in the planning, development, and evaluation of the Occupational Therapy service. Being a key member of the multi-disciplinary team. Contributing to the maintenance and development of the trust-wide Occupational Therapy service. Actively participating in the education of occupational therapy students Engaging in teaching/presentations of specialist skills for professional development.

This role offers a dynamic and challenging environment where you can showcase your skills and expertise in occupational therapy. Your contributions will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to individuals within the low secure forensic service.

Job responsibilities

The position will be based at Thames House in Oxford, a 24-bedded female low secure forensic unit. The unit comprises of 2 wards, an acute assessment ward and a rehabilitation-focused ward.
