Are you a passionate and innovative ICT teacher looking to inspire the next generation of digital leaders? We are partnered with a forward-thinking and inclusive secondary school in Cambridge to appoint a dynamic and dedicated ICT Teacher starting September 2024.

The school is dedicated to providing a high-quality educational and personal growth provision for all and pride themselves on fostering a culture of creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and comprehensive ICT lessons to students aged 11-16 (KS3 and KS4).
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all students, incorporating the latest technological advancements.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in ICT.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Participate in school events, parents' evenings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching ICT at the secondary school level is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and current ICT trends.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

We are offering a £200 referral fee for any Teacher referred to us, once they have completed their first day of work. This is unlimited so you can refer as many teachers as you like (they must be able to commit to a minimum of 2 days per week)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
