Supply Teacher (Secondary Schools) – September Start

Pay: £150 - £220 per day

About the Role:

Connex Education is excited to be working with Secondary schools within the WF17 area and are recruiting for a number of roles including Supply Teachers.

Assignment Details;

As a supply teacher you will have the freedom to choose how often you work and where, allowing you the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of school environments. We welcome applications from teachers with specialisms in every subject, and we view applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) equally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons
  • Maintaining classroom discipline
  • Assisting students with their work
  • Recording attendance and reporting any issues
  • Supporting the school's policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to quickly build rapport with students and staff
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Be confident in managing classroom behaviour
  • Have the ability to follow lesson plans and give clear instructions
  • Be flexible and adaptable to different school environments
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS).
  • We are also open to applications from FE Trained Teachers with PGCE Qualifications.
