As a Nursing Home Manager, you will combine your clinical expertise as a Nurse with management skills to oversee the day-to-day operations and create a nurturing environment for residents and staff. The Nursing Home is set in a large and beautiful building, surrounded by the countryside. The dedicated team provides nursing and personal care to a small number of older adults.
Qualifications
- Current registration as an RGN with a valid UK NMC Pin
- Proven Nursing Home experience, with a track record of Good CQC reports
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in elderly care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the nursing home.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing and care staff to deliver person-centered care in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee the operational and financial management of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals to promote collaboration and communication.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure the delivery of high-quality care services.
- Manage staffing levels, recruitment, training, and performance management to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equality among staff and residents.
