About the role:
At the core of our purpose is providing exceptional leadership and support to our team, ensuring they can deliver the highest standard of service. As a leader, you'll provide supervision, appraisal, and welfare support to a diverse cohort of team members, including volunteers and students. Service development is key to our success, and you'll play a pivotal role in contributing to the development and implementation of operational policies, ensuring our services meet the needs of those who use it. Safety is paramount, and you'll oversee regular health and safety checks and audits, promptly addressing any concerns to maintain our legal obligations and keep our environment secure. Maintaining our premises is essential for creating a safe and comfortable space for both our team and those we support. You'll oversee the management and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring repairs, cleaning, and waste management are carried out efficiently. Financial management is another aspect of your role, where you'll have oversight of invoices, petty cash, and spending to support budget management, ensuring resources are used effectively. Ensuring the safe and effective generation and security of prescriptions is crucial. You'll ensure adherence to CGL policies, staff competency, and robust systems for accurate prescription generation, storage, distribution, and recording.About you:
Knowledge of general office procedures High standard of IT literacy including proficiency in word processing, data entry excel. Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a team. Solid numeric skills. Excellent organisational skills. The ability to travel when required to different locations across Birmingham for meetings or cover when required Ideally you will have knowledge of the Criminal Justice and substance misuse treatment systems and knowledge of Invoice and petty cash managementAnd the ability to:
Maintain professional boundaries and work effectively with partnership agencies. Communicate confidently and effectively, verbally and in writing. Lead and develop a team of administrators. Effectively delegate and get things done through others. Respond flexibly to the demands of the post. To respond to appropriate requests for assistance, maintaining confidentiality whenever necessary.What we will give to you:
