The Role:

As a Science Graduate, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching and learning of science subjects. Your enthusiasm for science and your ability to make complex concepts accessible will help spark curiosity and a love for learning in students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging science lessons and activities.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who need additional help.
  • Use creative approaches to make science fun and relevant to students' lives.
  • Help prepare and maintain science equipment and materials for lessons.
  • Support teachers in monitoring and assessing students' progress.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to participate.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a Science-related field.
  • A genuine passion for science and education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach to understanding and addressing the diverse needs of learners.
  • Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for young learners.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning.
