Robert Half are recruiting for an Oxfordshire based business to find a Project Cost Accountant for to 6 months.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Cost Accountant with manufacturing experience.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, budgeting, and cost management, coupled with strong analytical capabilities and business understanding.
Your main role will be to build a comprehensive finance excel model that will aid our client in managing the cost project for the manufacturing business.
You will also have the ability to work strategically with various departments in the company and be an instrumental business partner.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute the development of a finance excel model that aligns with our manufacturing project cost requirements.
- Regularly analyse and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure clear understanding and interpretation of financial data.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure cost projects are adhering to budget restrictions and financial guidelines.
- Forecast, track, and report on project costs and ensure costs stay within budget constraints.
- Prepare budget analysis, cost analysis, and other related financial reports as needed.
- Work closely with other departments as a business partner to ensure the alignment of financial data and decisions.
- Design and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyse data.
- Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the financial leadership team..
