A Flight Case Fabricator is required to join a high performing team at our Solotech manufacturing department in Fareham. This role assists with the building of our flight cases and the successful candidate be an active member of a growing production team specialising in the manufacture of flight cases for the transportation of equipment within the audio industry. Full training and support will be given to the successfully candidate.

Your day will look like:

Assisting with the assembly and manufacture of goods and equipment, such as flight cases and speaker cabinets, using a variety of wood/metal working skills and equipment. Air drills, Riveters, HVLP Paint Spraying, Wall Saw, Table Saw and General Power tools will all be used. Responsible for safe working practices within the department, including the correct operation of tools, equipment and the use of guards and safety clothing. Monitoring of stock levels and informing management if they fall below operational levels. Maintain the filing system for drawings, cutting lists, jigs and assembly information. Assist with the unloading and storage of incoming materials. Ensure end of shift shutdown procedures are carried out.

Education

Educated to GCSE or equivalent 

Personal specification

Keen interest in fabrication/DIY The ability to read and understand design drawings. Willingness and ability to learn quickly. Strong communication skills. Right to Work in the UK.
