About the role?

We are seeking a commercially experienced manager who will be responsible for the delivery of a large program of capital projects, providing MEICA and Civil engineering construction solutions for wastewater, water production, facilities lifecycle, waste and water network functions, above and below ground.

You will ensure delivery of market leading H&S performance, high quality standards, compliance with client specifications whilst challenging commercial and program deliverables. 

The role offers responsibility for the development of innovative and cost-effective strategies and solutions, which continually drive cultural change, business improvements, increased productivity and help embed commercial focus, and the corporate values and behaviours.

The role offers the chance to get exposure to numerous aspects of the business, including senior stakeholder engagement, major construction projects as well as providing planning and support to the business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your attributes to a front-line management role within operations. This is a challenging role and gives the successful candidate a great opportunity to make improvements whilst offering advice and support.

Key Accountabilities:

The delivery of all capital projects to budget, ensuring turnover is managed in line with forecast. 
Delivery of all construction projects on program with 100% compliance to client specification whilst managing the procurement process.
Leading, motivating and developing a multi-disciplined team of Project Managers and Project Delivery Engineers, setting and monitoring objectives through regular performance reviews.
Ensure effective flow and input of commercial information to meet the financial deadlines of the business.
Managing the clients site requirements, ensuring minimal impact to the functionality of the site.
Deliver all projects within legislative and regulatory requirements, including Health & Safety, Environmental compliance and HR responsibilities.
Ensure that Health and Safety is at the heart of everything that is done and that a strong Health and Safety culture is continually developed.
Management of multiple stakeholders, developing sustainable, long lasting relationships across all areas of the internal business and across our supply chain
What are we looking for?

We are seeking a tenacious and resilient individual with the ability to work with confidence in a challenging, reactive environment. You will have an inclusive, motivational leadership style with strong interpersonal skills. We are looking for a candidate with an innovative and pro-active approach to problem solving with a track record of delivering site based construction projects. An operational leadership background in water or similar process related industry would be advantageous however this is not essential.  An industry recognised project management qualification would be desirable along with a relevant H&S qualification, NEBOSH or similar.
