Job Overview:
On behalf of our EPC client, Petroplan is seeking two experienced Subcontracts Managers for an exciting high-end plastics recycling construction project. This is an opportunity to contribute to a major EPCM project, overseeing and managing critical contract packages, ensuring compliance and efficiency throughout all contract phases from tendering to close-out.

The role is offered as Hybrid (3 Days in office, 2 days WFH).

This contract opportunity is outside IR35. Starting Immediately for an initial 6 month period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a series of large-scale EPCM package contracts and site service agreements.
  • Prepare, compile, and issue bid documentation; conduct reviews to ensure bid packages are complete and viable.
  • Lead pre-bid meetings and tender clarifications, facilitating clear communication with bidders.
  • Manage tender bulletins and responses to queries, ensuring timely technical and commercial evaluations.
  • Oversee contract award, organize kick-off meetings, and handle post-award administration.
  • Ensure contract close-out processes are effectively managed, tracking contract performance throughout project execution.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or a related discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering ideal).
  • At least 5 years of contract and procurement experience, ideally within EPCM projects in the energy, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Extensive experience in contract administration for major projects, ideally with exposure to KBR or similar EPC environments.
  • Strong ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary project team and liaise with contractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders.
