ABOUT THE JOB
As the Creative Lead for VIEVE, you will be at the forefront of our creative efforts, driving innovative and captivating campaigns that align with our brand vision and resonate with our target audience. You will lead and manage a talented team of designers and content creators, fostering a collaborative and dynamic environment that encourages creativity and excellence. Your role will involve overseeing the conceptualization and execution of all creative concepts & materials, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with brand strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the beauty industry, a strong creative vision, impeccable taste-level, and an ability to develop creative plans to achieve a brand vision and captivate our target audience through compelling visual content. The Creative Lead will work across the organisation, collaborating cross-functionally with the wider marketing team, E-commerce, New Product Development and Commercial teams, and with our Founder, to achieve company objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible for:
Creative Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor and inspire the creative team, providing guidance, support and professional development opportunities.
- Conduct regular team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and one-on-one check-ins to maintain high morale and productivity.
Creative Direction & Strategy:
- Working closely with our founder and Chief Creative Officer, develop and implement innovative creative strategies and tactical plans that align with brand objectives and market trends.
- · Collaborate with the Marketing & E-commerce teams to ensure creative concepts are integrated into broader marketing campaigns.
Brand Identity:
- Maintain the visual style and brand guidelines, including logos, colour palettes, typography, and visual assets, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Oversee the creation of digital assets, including website design, social media content, email marketing materials and online advertisements.
Content Creation:
- In partnership with our Chief Creative Officer, Chief Customer Experience Officer and Senior Marketing Manager, create compelling brand narratives, storytelling strategies, content franchises and ad-hoc content that effectively communicate VIEVE’s value proposition and brand essence, working to evoke emotion and connect with consumers on a deeper level.
- Direct the creative of diverse content types, including digital campaigns, social media content, print materials, packaging, and in-store displays.
- Ensure all creative outputs are of high quality, reflect the brand’s aesthetic, and are consistent with brand guidelines.
Visual Content Production:
- Direct photoshoots, video productions, and other visual content creation processes to ensure high-quality results.
- Oversee post-production work, including editing, retouching, and final asset delivery.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Coordinate design team & copywriting team to ensure visual and written content are seamlessly integrated.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external freelancers and agencies to develop creative assets that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
Project Management:
- Manage the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Trend Analysis & Innovation:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to keep the brand at the forefront of design and innovation.
- Introduce new ideas and creative solutions to enhance the brand’s visual impact.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Previous experience within Beauty is highly desirable.
- Previous managerial experience of a creative team including social content creation and graphic design disciplines.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful creative campaigns, with end-to-end project management experience.
- Strong understanding of content, the social media landscape and D2C marketing strategies.
- Creative thinking with a deep understanding of our target audience.
- Up to date with the latest design trends.
- Fully competent in the Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Premiere Pro, Premiere Rush and After Effects skills are a bonus but not essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

- Available to commute to central London at least twice per week.
