London, UK, United Kingdom Townhouse Full time

Townhouse was created with a single goal: to disrupt and reinvent the global nail salon industry. We are the fastest growing beauty brand in the UK and are driven by a passionate and disruptive team in achieving our mission.

We’ve brought together a world class team from a wide range of industries. And as we’re growing extremely fast, we need brilliant people (like you) - to join us on our journey and help us deliver our goal.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Project Manager - Franchise at Townhouse, you will play a critical role in the expansion and success of our franchised salons. Acting as the primary point of contact for franchisees, you will oversee the New Store Opening (NSO) process and provide ongoing support during the Hypercare phase, ensuring a seamless transition to Operations. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with franchise partners, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and delivering operational excellence across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders across each franchisee. Serve as the primary contact for franchisees during the New Store Opening (NSO) process and the Hypercare phase, ensuring smooth transition to Operations.
  • Act as the key interface between the Townhouse Support Centre and franchisees' brand, operational, and functional contacts.
  • Develop, own, and deliver an effective onboarding program for all new franchisees, ensuring they are fully prepared for successful operations.
  • Fully own and manage the execution of opening new franchised salons. Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for each opening, coordinating cross-functional internal teams, including Construction, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Manage the opening of multiple franchise salons simultaneously across different locations and countries, ensuring adherence to timelines and franchisee specifications.
  • Educate internal Townhouse teams on the nuances of opening a franchise vs. equity salon. Communicate and educate franchisees and Townhouse operational teams on policy changes within the franchising function.
  • Act as a representative between the Support Centre and franchisees when necessary, ensuring the franchisees' perspectives are considered to help salons achieve their targets.
  • Work closely with franchisees, project managers, and operations teams to ensure the smooth delivery of support for new salons. Attend design, construction, and operational handover meetings and have final salon sign-off.
  • Prepare for and attend franchisee business reviews, as well as quarterly Franchise Committee Meetings.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Proven experience in opening new franchised sites across the UK and internationally.
  • Ability to manage multiple franchised NSOs simultaneously across various franchisees and markets.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective external and internal stakeholder relationships.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and capable of working independently while understanding the interdependencies between internal and external departments.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple projects and meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with financial acumen to understand business proposals and budgets related to the NSO process.
  • Consultative skills in a business environment, with the ability to drive decision-making processes.

LOCATION:

Our office is based in Central London and we offer a hybrid working model, based on the requirements of the role.

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS AT TOWNHOUSE:

  • Private healthcare and wellness support – Benefit from the nail industry’s first private healthcare package including free telephone / video GP appointments and treatment in private hospitals if there is a long wait on the NHS.
