With versatility, numeracy and a strong analytical capability at its core, the successful candidate will support prospective investment opportunities across the group, producing comprehensive valuation reports from market research and up to date financial models that direct and inform group investment decisions.

The Role


  • Development and maintenance of techno-economic models that underpin business strategy.
  • Conducting targeted market research and analysis to support the development of business models and strategies.
  • Proactively follow market developments and commercial activity, capturing market comparables and benchmarking business models against competition.
  • Proactively follow developments of relevant government support/subsidy regimes and develop the “house view” in relation to investment opportunities.



Qualifications / Experience


  • Strong academic record and career progression to date. Likely to be sitting within a well-regarded professional services firm with 1-2 years’ experience or come from an educational background which involved numerical problem solving (engineering or similar).
  • A relevant professional qualification (e.g., CA, CFA etc.) is helpful, but not essential.
  • Financial modelling and valuation experience.
  • Energy sector experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable working on ambiguous problems, where the end goal / target is not always evident.
  • Strong communication and networking skills with an ability to build relationships across multiple disciplines.
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills.
  • Resilient and comfortable working in a small, dynamic, high-performing team.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office packages, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Aby experience with coding; python or others would be beneficial.
