We have an outstanding opportunity to join the world’s most broadly-based healthcare company supporting their business as a Project Lead in their Mental Wellbeing team.


This role is based on their prestigious site in High Wycombe, paying £18.20 per hour, and is expected to run until the end of the year. Although the role is based in High Wycombe, there may be the opportunity to work remotely for most of the assignment.


The Mental Wellbeing (MWB) Project Lead will work directly with our Regional Mental Wellbeing Leader to support the EMEA Employee Health and Wellbeing (EHW) team to deliver on the key tactical goals, programs, projects and governance standards.


The Mental Wellbeing Project Lead will be responsible for support and/or management of our mental wellbeing priorities that include the core areas of Psycho-Social Risk Assessment, Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP) vendor relationships management, MWB training and operational governance. The Project Lead will continuously liaise with EHW clinicians and operational team members, and internal stakeholders such as Human Resources, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) and in country business leaders. The postholder will be the operational interface and point of contact for mental wellbeing related queries across EMEA countries.


The role may be ideal for someone wishing to gain corporate experience related to the application of Organisational Psychology.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Lead and operational Point of Contact (POC) for Mental Wellbeing program priorities.
  • The deployment of MWB processes and governance standards across the MWB portfolio.
  • To provide initial support to incoming operational and x-functional MWB queries.
  • Timely collection of information and data across EMEA countries to inform operational delivery and future strategic objectives.
  • Accountable for data analysis and reporting to the regional extended leadership team.
  • Review, support and delivery of the MH&WB training material.
  • Support and at times lead the management of EAP Vendors.
  • Review and updates of MWB internal governance processes.
  • Supports DE&I initiatives and programmes.
  • Serves as a point of contact for Emplyee Assistance Programme vendor related issues.
  • Review and update quality, storage and access of MWB related material and processes.
  • Maintains MWB resource database.
  • Delivery of MWB training sessions.


Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Psychology or closely related field of study is required.
  • Some knowledge of mental health and wellbeing initiatives and behavioural change models.
  • Experience in data analysis and results interpretation.
  • Ability to demonstrate program impact via visual representation (i.e. Power Point, Excel).
  • Demonstrated strong communication and interest to learn.
