About Us:
Farleigh Golf Club is renowned for its thriving golf and event venue with a welcoming atmosphere. Located in Warlingham, our establishment caters to a wide range of guests, offering excellent service and memorable experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects or failures throughout a fleet of greenkeeping machinery.
- Creating and implementing a preventative maintenance program.
- Keeping detailed records of work carried out.
- Maintaining an integral parts store, keeping it tidy and safe.
Requirements:
- Able to manage multiple workshop tasks simunltaneously whilst delivering high standards of work and meeting deadlines set by the Course Manager.
- Previous experience in a workshop environment
- Qualification in motor mechanics
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
- Flexible around busy periods in the season
Desirable but not essential:
- Understanding of hydraulic systems
- Experience sharpening and setting up cutting units
- Experience as a golf course mechanic
